Created quite a stir in this final book Madison, the recently hired and overqualified CSI, and Silas, semi downtrodden police detective, are each dealing with the events from The Past Unsolved in their own way. As the story progresses drastic measures are taken, trust is shaken, and the result could cause old wounds to awaken. W.L. Knightly created quite a stir in this final book of The Evidence Speaks series between the characters and the crimes they seek to solve. It was a fitting end to the series and a great way to show that mental health is a serious matter that should not be shamed. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Brain? Wiped. Words? Gone. But that was exactly the ending I needed to this series. And my pet theory? I’m happy to report that I’m rubbing my hands together in glee because I get to shout, “I was right all along!” I could not read this book fast enough in order to find out what the truth would be. There was even a part of me that wanted to skip straight to the end of the book so I could finally relax, knowing the answer. I’m glad I fought that urge because I would have missed the best parts of the build-up to getting there. Now that I have the answers, I’m at peace, but I’m also kind of sorry it’s over. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

Silas and Madison are still working separately on the case. Madison found out things about her brother so in order to protect him she is planting evidence. Silas has also found out information regarding Aiden and wants him to finally come in to give his statement. A lot of questions get answered in this final installment.
