Not Just for Kids: Although the books are written a little simmer than my normal novel, I found them to be fun and smart. When I finished the first one I couldn't wait to start this one. These books actually put me in the story and for a while, I forgot they were make-believe. No, they're not War and Peace, however, they are a great way to get away from it all while smiling the whole time. These books both are highly recommended-but only to people who love life and don't take themselves too seriously. As for the younger set-what a fun way to learn about some of today's lessons about life, our planet, and all we share it with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)

About the author
Brad Swift (aka W. Bradford Swift and Orrin Jason Bradford) sold his veterinary practice in 1989 to pursue a dream to be an author and personal development coach. He and his wife were co-founders of the Life On Purpose Institute during which Swift wrote the Life On Purpose series that includes the award-nominated Life on Purpose: Six Passages to an Inspired Life. In the YA category, he is the author of the Zak Bates Eco-Adventure series for animal lovers of all ages, and the Amberlin series. Under his pen name of Orrin Jason Bradford, he's written the six-volume FreeForm SF thriller series and others. Most recently he has been drawn to writing (and reading) visionary fiction including his latest, Babble (book one of the Cosmic Conspiracy series), and The Fringe Candidate, his most visionary fiction story to date.
Swift became an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction as an eleven-year-old boy when his next-door neighbor, a children's librarian, took pity on his single-parent mom. Bored out of his gourd with no one to play with but good 'ol mom, he drove her crazy until Mrs. Crabtree brought home a stack of books she knew would hook a young boy's imagination. It worked. Swift has been hooked ever since.
