(A review from the person I read to) This book has really disappointed me. In the last series, Rae was wonderful and heroic. But in this book she is very selfish, only thinking about what she wants and putting all of her friends in great danger. Also there is a lot less content to this story, just everything explained more and more making it quite boring in parts. I don't want to carry on with this series, I am so disappointed. From me, the reader - I agree that there is far less content to this book than there was in the last series of books. The author also seems to have done a lot of double lined spacing, sometimes whole pages, meaning the book is not as long as one would first think. A bit of a dirty trick imo... Anyway, as said above, we won't be carrying on with these books, quite sad and disappointing.

This was a pretty well written piece. although I remain confused by the constantly changing names of characters. Was Devon's dad Randolph like in the first book of the initial series or was it Tristan? or did he change it? or was it a middle name? maybe it'll be answered in the coming books but I was confused. same applies to Andrew being James somewhere between books 5 and 6 and Andrew at the last minute...
