I love how the authors used the cutest creatures, axolotls, in the good versus evil conflict framework. I actually searched for more information about these interesting creatures on the Internet because of this book. But equally intriguing is the fact that this story goes with an app. Once in the app, as a user you can create contributions and use docs to collaborate in order to expand on this writing as a writer and co-author for this story-novel. This is such a highly interactive, collaborative, and pioneering concept. If you are a young person looking for ways to expand on your writing and imagination, this is perfect for you. If you are a teacher, think about how this type of writing can engage your students. I cannot wait for the custom character creator to be released and added to this concept!
