Root Hog or Die: A Nate Grisham Tale

When a frustrated Federal marshal can't capture two escaped murders, he calls in his ace in the hole, Nate Grisham. He needs Nate's man-hunting skills to find two men who escaped from a prison wagon on the way to their execution, killing their guards in the process. Now those same men are evading capture by posing as innocent 'mountain men', a detail that sticks in Nate's craw.

Nate along with his company of tried and true friends, Deacon, Cotton, and One Eyed Jack agree to track down the outlaws and bring them to justice. After kidnapping a young woman, the outlaws cross into what they think is the refuge of Nuevo Mexico, but Nate has other plans.

After the outlaws and their cohorts capture Deacon, Nate and his crew recruit help from a new ally—a young Mexican boy named Pedro. But can the Nate rescue his friend in time? His vow to save his friend and get the upper-hand on this band of murderous thugs might be the hardest and most dangerous adventure Nate has ever faced.
