What he ultimately uncovers goes beyond the natural concern a policeman has for his community when a statewide drug syndicate is found to be operating even in this remote community.

This is not the first novel that Boby Beavers has written. It is, however, the first one he has published. After an administration career in both public service and large and international companies, the time came to turn a hobby into a new career. This novel represents a complete break with the past, yet it still expresses a deep love for the place and experiences of his childhood.
