About this ebook

Fantasy. Mystery. Action. Humor. Parents, teachers, and librarians will no longer have to push kids to read—The Berinfell Prophesies will engage intermediate readers and leave them clamoring for more.

The Seven succeeding Elven Lords of Allyra were dead, lost in the Siege of Berinfell as babes. At least that’s what everyone thought until tremors from a distant world known as Earth, revealed strange signs that Elven blood lived among its peoples. With a glimmer of hope in their hearts, sentinels are sent to see if the signs are true. But theirs is not a lone errand. The ruling warlord of Allyra, the Spider King, has sent his own scouts to hunt down the Seven and finish the job they failed to complete many ages ago.

Now 13-year-olds on the brink of the Age of Reckoning when their Elven gifts will be manifest, discover the unthinkable truth that their adoptive families are not their only kin. With mysterious Sentinels revealing breathtaking secrets of the past, and dark strangers haunting their every move, will the young Elf Lords find the way back to the home of their birth? Worlds and races collide as the forces of good and evil battle. Will anyone escape the Curse of the Spider King?

This book is very good. The characters are, in many ways, extremely unique and easy to relate to. The Seven Lords come from diverse backgrounds and have enjoyable hobbies, quirks, homes and families. The book is chockablock with humor, mystery, and cliffhangers, and by almost all standards clean. However, the only reason I gave this book just four stars is because I think that the writing style was at times unclear and there a were few grammar issues that I found distracting. Nonetheless, I would consider this book a worthy read. -whisper

Seven teens find themselves followed by mysterious people while gaining unbelievable powers. It doesn’t take long for them to learn the Spider King’s assassins are out to get them, and elves are out to protect them. Will they place their lives in God’s hands and follow the elves back to their homeland…before it’s too late? Wayne Thomas Batson and Christopher Hopper are amazing together, and this book is an epic start for their co-authorship series; I couldn’t set it down! :D Watch out for the cliffhanger! It almost killed me. -.-

When the Spider King's legions attack Berinfell and steal the seven Elf Lord's children, the children are put on Earth, where they will grow without any knowledge of the Elven World. The surviving elves send a group of sentenial elves to search for the children. Will they be able to find them? And will they be able to bring them back to Berinfell to help with the attack against the Spider King? I rate this book 10/10. Thomas
