The childlike question is answered in thoughtful ways that show the many facets of God's personality and traits. The book is written for children, but it is a brilliant reminder for adults about the reality of who God is without all of our doctrine, rules, or structure imposed on God. Reading this book with my daughter made my eyes tear up and my heart warm at thinking of instilling this loving, brave view of God. Matthew Paul Turner took the words that Rachel Held Evans wrote before she died and created a space for them to shine brightly. Ying Hui Tan's illustrations are a diverse and remarkable understanding of God and those who are created in God's image.
