My wife bought this book when my little lad was born. We didn't get into story time at bedtime until he was about 18 months. He's now 2 and loves this book. I try to persuade him with Bob the builder, chuggington or even Charlie & Lola but he insists on this book. I encourage him to make the noise of the animals in it but the lion sounds a lot like the bear. There is but one downside to this book, everything now is Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, much to the annoyance of the wife.

Daniel Howarth is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. He has illustrated a number of children’s picture books for Little Tiger Press and Ladybird. He lives near Exeter, with his wife and family, and works from his garden studio.
