Review I was excited for the conclusion to Eleanor Cole and Becker Hunt’s story and Wicked Truth’s was everything I expected and so much more. This book starts right where Artful Lies finishes so please make sure you have read that one before picking this one up. The cliffhanger at the end of book one had me wondering what would happen when the secrets and lies are revealed well this book gave me answers to all of my questions. I really don’t want to write a review full of spoilers because I believe you need to read this Duet first hand with no expectations but what I will say is Becker comes very close to being my favourite Jodi Ellen Malpas hero and bearing in mind I have loved Jesse since 2014 that’s a big statement for me to make. Becker is the perfect arrogant, Alpha male who at times frustrates the life out of you and at times has you swooning and sighing and Eleanor is the perfect sassy, strong match for him, she gives as good as she gets and she stands for no nonsense. I as captivated from the first page to the last line and this Duet will be read time and time again because I can’t get enough of Eleanor, Becker and Mrs Potts. Wicked Truths is the perfect conclusion to a wonderful duet that will appeal to a wide range of audiences and this Duet is certainly one of my top reads of 2020, so I guess all I need to say is great job Jodi Ellen Malpas because you have given us a new book boyfriend just when we all needed lifting from a very strange year.

A Book that tops all other books I have read. I felt like a kid at Christmas seeing this hit my inbox and the excitement just couldn't be contained from the second I opened the book and read the first page the world around me began moving in slow motion and everything seemed inconsequential. It's a book that makes you feel from the second you start to the very end, a book you can't wait to get into and a book that once in your trapped and you never want to get out of. Everything I ever expected got blown out of the window because this book is a master of all masters. A book that is in its very own league because amazing, incredible and all words that could describe just how good this book is just aren't good enough to explain the pure beauty of this masterpiece. Every single character within this book is exceptional and I mean every single one. I have laughed cried felt anxious and all in good ways trust me My heart has been taken over not just by Becker (although I seriously wish I was Eleanor) but every person I come across throughout reading this entire novel. I could cry now that I have finished reading it but immediately want to dive back in under the Hunt spell, never to come out the other side. This book literally has you seconded guessing everything you thought would happen after artful lies and never stops there wasn't one point throughout reading that made me want to stop reading not even to eat. You get so emersed in their world that you feel like its unfolding in front of you like your a fly on the wall or for me like my eyes, heart and soul were Eleanor's. This book never stops not once and to be honest I can't find the words to say how much I loved it and Truthfully I have never read a book like it, neither do I think that I ever will because this book has set the bar to the highest point for every book to be read after or before it. Jodi Ellen Malpas you are a genius and an absolute master at your craft. Thank you for allowing me the chance to read this ARC it truly is a work of art but mostly Thank you for allowing me into the haven and the Hunt Legacy. I feel like you and the Hunts saved me when I needed saving the most.

5 Star Review Wicked Truths (Hunt Legacy Duology #2) by Jodi Ellen Malpas I couldn’t wait to read the conclusion to Eleanor Cole and Becker Hunt’s story and it was everything I was expecting and so much more. Wicked Truth picks up where Artful Lies ended so if you haven’t read Artful Lies, then stop right now and do so. After the ending in book one I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. What happens when secrets and lies are revealed? Can Becker and Eleanor whether the storm and adventures as they continue to journey on their adventure? Becker is such an arrogant, alpha male and at times he frustrated me, however I loved how sassy and feisty Eleanor is. She could certainly give as good as she got and held her own against Becker. Not only did I love Becker and Eleanor but Mrs Potts and Gramps were fabulous secondary characters. As I have come to expect from a Jodi Ellen Malpas book, it was well written and the story she wove drew me in and kept me riveted from the first to the last word. There is so much chemistry, passion, mystery, intrigue and adventure in this book that I was on the edge of my seat at times. Becker comes close to taking over as my favourite hero from Jodi Ellen Malpas and that is certainly saying a lot. This was a book I had a hard time putting down when real life got in my way but it was a great conclusion to the duet.
