Wideband Radar focuses on system theories and signal processing techniques for wideband radar systems. Author Professor Teng Long and his fellows present a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental theory, latest technology developments in signal processing and recent progresses in civil applications of wideband radar. Each chapter begins with an introduction describing what a reader will find in that chapter. The book is addressed to all scientists, whether at universities or in industry, who wish to keep abreast of the important advances in wideband radar. We look forward to further excitement ahead and new developments in wideband radar, and we hope to share them with you, our esteemed readers.

Acerca del autor

Teng Long is a Professor in the School of Information and Electronics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China. He is the president of the Beijing Institute of Technology on May 27, 2022. He received the Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 1995. He was a Senior Visiting Scholar in Stanford University in 1999 and a Senior Visiting Scholar in University College London in 2002. His research interests include novel radars and real-time signal processing. He was elected Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2009, the Chinese Institute of Electronics in 2014, the IEEE in 2018, the International Academy of Astronautics in 2020, the Russian Academy of Engineering in 2020, and the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2021.

Weifeng Zhang is a Professor in the School of Information and Electronics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China.

Quanhua Liu is a Professor in the School of Information and Electronics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China.

Xinliang Chen is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information and Electronics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China.

Weiming Tian is an Associate Professor in the School of Information and Electronics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China.
