Susan Slater is the author of the internationally bestselling Ben Pecos mystery series, in addition to her gripping Dan Mahoney series. She has also written two stand-alone novels—the zany, sexy novel 0-60, which was optioned by Hollywood, and her epic historical The Caddis Man. She lived in New Mexico for 39 years, the location where she set many of her mysteries, before retiring to Florida to write full time.
