They would do anything for each other and it’s breathtaking to watch. I wanted to be their sister by choice too. With sisterhood like that, you know you’re never alone. Wild Child is an incredible heartfelt story with drama, suspense, family and love. This book blew my mind. Ms Carlan has incredible talent in the way she has written such a compelling, intriguing but also unputdownable book. This is without a doubt one of her best books to date. I honestly have to pick up my jaw particularly since the story caused a myriad of emotions. I felt for the characters and what they go through. There is so much in this book to hook you in. I loved Simone. She was an absolute breath of fresh air. An incredibly caring, strong willed woman who would do anything for those she loves. Meeting Jonah in a particularly stressful time, brings her some hope. Jonah may be an FBI agent but there is definitely more to this man than his good looks. The slow burn is wonderful and their chemistry is undeniable. There may be some harrowing and heartbreaking moments but you come to learn that a family bond is stronger than you think. Wild Child is an absolute winner and a definite must read!
