The topics of the first edition have been enhanced with additional discussion, new numerical experiments, and improved figures. New topics in the second edition include nonlinear equations, Neumann boundary conditions, variable mesh and variable coefficient problems, anisotropic problems, algebraic multigrid (AMG), adaptive methods, and finite elements. This book is scanned with an extra 50% white space. The tiny print resulting from the small used area on the page is made worse by the google play app's inability to zoom. Immediately started searching for solutions to remove the drm so I could: A. Open it on a reader that can zoom in B. Remove the ridiculous white space. No complaints on the actual content of the book.
