This book is the simple and easiest way to get the Tequilla Rose duet all at once and in a really cute package, because how cute is this cover?! lol I think it is adorable! Inside you'll get Book one, Tequilla Rose and Book two, Autumn Night Whiskey. Magnolia and Brody's romance is steeped in secrets and emotion. Trust me when I say that this couple will take you on quite the journey as it fiercely tugs on your heartstrings. The chemistry is powerful and the feels major. I have to admit though, that I did have some conflicting emotions about Magnolia. This I chalk up to my own personal pet peeves and not anything having to do with the book or writing itself and that is why I gave this four stars instead of five. I am independently posting an impartial review.

A tender and slow-burn romance with a perfect title. The MCs have been crafted with utmost care and thought. The relationships are portrayed to bring out the empath in you. Relationships are not easy, when has it ever been? This story pushes you through all of that but teaches you to fight through everything when you know there is that perfect someone for you at the end❤️

Willow Winters is incredibly talented at writing angsty romance. I'm usually not a fan of love triangles, but I spent this entire book reading with anticipation on what would happen next. It felt like riding a roller coaster and you are taking a slow, steep climb just waiting to hit that peak and race down to the bottom. Willow Winters had me sitting there, continuing to read, and unable to put this book down. When the story starts Magnolia has just had a visit home with her long term high school boyfriend, only to get back to school and have him end things by phone with no reason. She picks herself up and heads out one night to try and get over Robert by meeting someone new. That night she meets Brody, who she spends a fantastic night with, only to have it end in the early morning when she gets a fateful call from home, sneaks out from where Brody's, and to head on to the next part of her life. The story picks up four years later, when Brody moves in to her small town and their attraction is still right there. Complicating things is her friends - and somewhat more than friends - relationship with Robert, and her three year old daughter Bridget. This is an incredibly angsty, small town, one night stand, love triangle romance. Although I had some issues with Magnolia and Robert's relationship, and felt there were times where they both could have done better, the writing is just excellent and I love when I'm so wrapped up in a book, I don't want to pull away for even a moment. Small Town Big Rumors was originally the a duet, and I am so happy to have been able to read it all in one go as one book. Definitely recommend if you are a fan of angsty love stories!
