what a fantastic series. I loved them. Kaden and Cynthia were brilliant. the story was well written with twists and turns all the way through, I never knew what was going to happen next, which is great as some books you can guess. I was kept on the edge of my seat all the way. I had read the other werewolf series before this and found that it was so good, I didn't want to stop. I didn't want the stories to end because they were that good. I cannot wait to read more from this author.

The Hunter’s Moon This book has introduced me to a world of werewolves unlike any I’ve read before. Though, now that I’ve said that, it may not be entirely true. There’s a bit of an Underworld vibe, what with the trained human supernatural hunters attempting to eradicate werewolf clans and all. Cynthia is one of those human hunters. Her brother has brought her to Kaden, an alpha werewolf, in the hopes that his healing ability will cure her cancer. This book mostly just introduces the characters and gives us a frame of reference for the conflict between hunters and wolves. I’m interested in seeing where this story goes next. The Hunter’s Alpha When I started reading the first installment, I was expecting a fairly straight-forward paranormal romance. This has now turned into something more closely akin to a political thriller with werewolves set in the back woods of British Columbia. Not at all the direction I thought this would take. Kaden is still pushing his agenda and Cyn is stubbornly refusing to get fully on board. At the same time, Kaden has unrest in the ranks to deal with. I’m very intrigued to see what happens next. The Hunter’s Pack This episode has all the action and mayhem you could desire. There’s still political unrest among the hierarchy of the werewolves, but now the human element has entered the fray. Hunters have arrived to take revenge for their fallen comrade, but that’s not the only surprise in store for the Windham pack. I kind of hate where this installment ends. But it does mean that I’m highly motivated to keep reading the next. The Hunter’s Clan We get to dig deeper into the emotions around Cyn and Kaden this time. Both are beginning to learn that they can’t handle everything alone. But they’re also learning who’s worthy of their trust. And in some cases, some of the people they thought were worthy, weren’t what they thought at all. Again, this has an ending that left me gasping “wait! What?” so now I need to keep reading to learn what happens next. The Hunter’s Mate Everything happens at lightning speed as it all comes to a head; Kaden, his siblings, Cyn, her brothers, their parents’ deaths, the betrayals within the hunter clans and werewolf packs. This is an explosive finale to the series. It ties all of the plot threads together while leaving the possibility for more to come in the future. I really enjoyed this series and hope there will be more about the Windham wolves and the Red hunter clan. I received a complimentary copy of this book.

A nice box set. Lots of intrigue between hunters and werewolves. There’s also in fighting between the clans and wolf paxks. Poor Kaden, if he’s not fighting off a hunter, he’s fighting off people in his own pack. I felt for him but he stayed strong.
