I really enjoyed this story and especially the two main characters. I loved watching them from when Alana won Coop at the bachelor auction through their first date and seeing their friendship maybe turn romantic but Alana has a secret and once Coop finds out, not sure he wants to step up in that way. I did like seeing what would happen between them and the ending was so Coop. Great Story!

Four and a half stars Winning Her Fortune by Heatherly Bell is part of the Fortunes of Texas: Hitting the Jackpot multi-author continuity series by Harlequin Special Edition. Alana Searle and Cooper Fortune both have a bit of a reputation for enjoying a good time. But Alana recently learned she’s expecting, and that has changed her world completely. When she bids on Coop at the town bachelor auction, she’s just giving herself one last fun date, but it turns out that she and Coop get along
