Liburu elektroniko honi buruz

An “enchanting” novel of an American woman crossing the pond—and getting more than she bargained for—from the New York Times bestselling author (Daily Mail).

Claire takes the ferry into Manhattan every day, wishing that life could be as magical as it is in the novels she reads, and hoping she’ll catch a glimpse of sexy lawyer Michael at work. One day, out of the blue, Michael offers her a trip to London, all expenses paid, and Claire’s fortunes take an extraordinary about-turn.

Crossing the Atlantic, a whole new world opens up for Claire. Finally, she can revel in all the delights London has to offer a girl with a fresh spring in her step. The streets may not be paved with gold, but they are rich with opportunity.

But happily-ever-after isn’t easy, even in fairytales—especially when a very strait-laced Englishman seems determined to block your efforts at every turn . . .

Praise for Olivia Goldsmith and her bestselling novels

“What a great feeling to fall into the capable hands of Olivia Goldsmith. The author of The First Wives Club and Bestseller always serves up believable characters in slightly outlandish situations in a mixture that makes highly entertaining reading.”—People

“Full of wisecracks, and gossip . . . Olivia Goldsmith can keep you reading.”—Cosmopolitan

“A gorgeous witty story . . . It’s Sex and the City and more.”—Australian Woman’s Day

“Goldsmith hands out her characters’ rewards and comeuppances like Jane Austen dealing blackjack . . . You keep licking your fingers and reaching for the next page as if it were another potato chip.”—Newsweek
