Non stop action, some mystery and our awesome werewolves :) This one seems pretty hard hitting with explosive (no pun intended) action, graphic at times, but as they (well most) are werewolves it seemed a necessity to help explain all they can keep on taking, and keep on ticking. Jake is chosen as the leader of this STAT team and works with a human Jes who is aware of supernaturals and distrusts them. Understandable. The new team has Caleb, an Omega, Harley also an Alpha female werewolf, Forest a Human and Misty who is human and a technopath! (Read the book) They are overseas searching for what they thought was one child, and prince how was an asset that has turned rouge. We meet a new supernatural, but no one is sure what kind. This was a pretty rough and ready on the go action. Softened with some humor and "THE ONE" relationship with Jess and Jake. I enjoyed this book, but I have to admit I had to take a few breaths a long the way. Thank you #Netgalley #Paige tyler # SourcebooksCasablanca for the arc! I freely volunteer my unsolicited opinions. I recommend this to all who love paranormal, suspense, urban fantasy, military.

Just like the SWAT series I think I am really going to love this new STAT series. I love me some werewolves! Ms. Tyler knows how to do paranormal romance right. And this new series spin-off starts off with a bang for sure! And I love that it seems like it is going to be an international thing, which is cool and intriguing. This story mainly takes place in England and is full of action but still has plenty of character development, relationship building and intimacy. Jake Huang who we have met before is a former Navy SEAL and is the alpha of his new pack. He travels with his new team to join forces with Jestina Ridley who is human and recently lost her team members to what she thinks is a werewolf. So as you can imagine she starts off with some serious trust issues and hesitancy. Jake is strong, sexy and hard to resist and a force to be reckoned with; the rest of his team are equally fascinating-Caleb, Harley, Misty and Forrest all with their own interesting skill-sets/abilities. I really liked the relationship between Jake and Jes, but I also really enjoyed the story as a whole because it has just the right amount of all the ingredients that make up a great paranormal romance! Look forward to more!

The start of another great suspenseful paranormal romance series, "Wolf Under Fire" is Jake and Jestina's story. It has everything thing you would expect and more from a Paige Tyler book. Former Navy Seal Jake leads the Special Threat Assessment Team, and I must say, he is one hot alpha. As the sexy werewolf and his team investigates what appears to be supernatural killings in London, the last thing Jake expects is to find 'the one' with Jestina. A woman that doesn't exactly trust supernaturals. With page turning action, suspense, danger, and a bit of romance, I found it difficult to put it down until the last page had been read. **I was gifted "Wolf Under Fire" via Netgalley and leave my review voluntarily based on my reading** 5 Stars!
