The annual ICG meeting takes place once a year to review the epidemiological situation of each one of the diseases under the ICG mechanism, to review the outbreaks and campaigns supported by ICG, discuss the vaccine demand and supply forecast, discuss production plans of vaccine manufacturers and future vaccine developments. The consultation with ICG members and experts aims to use the experience and lessons learned from the vaccination in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in 2018-2021 and in Guinea in 2021 to operationalize SAGE recommendations using licensed and WHO prequalified vaccines in responding to an EVD outbreak as well as pre-emptive vaccination of population at highest risk.
The report outline: introduction, SAGE recommendations, evidence on Erbevo, Zabdeno and Mvabea vaccines, vaccination strategies for different vaccines, demand and supply scenarios for Erbevo vaccines.
