About this eBook

I’ve been crushing on my coworker for months. And now he’s moving... across the country. I’ve got one shot to make my move. We’re all holed up in this amazing house upstate and tonight I’m going to sneak into his room and finally Make. Something. Happen.

So I go for it. I climb into Luke’s bed and the kissing is so much better than I imagined. Why did we wait so long to feel this? I moan his name and Bam! He jumps out of bed. WTF? It isn’t Luke. It’s his twin, Noah. I don’t even like Noah. And he certainly doesn’t like me.

This will NEVER happen again...until the next day against the barn door. Why can’t I stop seeing him? It will never work. We're complete opposites. Enemies with benefits is a thing, right?

But what happens when I start to want more?

This is a predictable read that begins with Amanda making a move on Luke, her coworker that she's crushed on for years. However, instead of Luke, she climbs into bed with Noah, his twin brother. While Amanda and Luke are close friends and coworkers, Amanda and Noah have never gotten along. From there you pretty much know how the story goes - lots of sex and not a lot of depth. Given how the story unfolds, Amanda's supposed relationship with Luke doesn't make any sense and feels artificial. I was disappointed in this book. I love the series and have loved each of the prior books, but this one lacked their character depth or charm, instead replacing it with sex. As a result, I had difficulty connecting with the characters and never felt invested in their story. If you've read the prior books in the series, you'll want to read this one to learn Amanda's story. I love the author's other books and her fans will want to put this one on their TBR list.

Ah, I don't know. I'm on the fence on this one, while I enjoyed parts of this story more than the previous in the series, it still didn't grab me the way her other books have done in the past. I did like the premise I will say that! I had a fun love/hate thing going on with Noah. I cringed and laughed at the same time between the snarky banter between Amanda and Noah. Noah didn't like Amanda and Amanda didn't like Noah. You get that loud and clear. Amanda has been crushing on Luke her co worker for a long time and Noah is his twin brother. Luke is a long time friend and he has his whole flirty thing down pat with Amanda. When the opportunity presents itself and she's egged on my her friends to finally make a move with Luke, she decides to take her chance. How she ends up, where she ends up is priceless. Thus begins the tale of how two people who can't stand to breathe the same air as each other begin a relationship, while keep Luke in the dark on it. It is full of steam which Rebecca nails every time in her books. From the beginning of the story you know that there's an end point for Luke and Noah, what you don't know and what you need to read is what happens along the way, the relationship between twins and does that initial end ever come about? And where exactly does Amanda fit into the picture, or doesn't she? You'll have to read it to find out. 3.5 stars arc from Entangled and NetGalley for an honest review.

About the author

Rebecca Brooks lives in New York City in an apartment filled with books. She received a PhD in English but decided it was more fun to write books than write about them. She has backpacked alone through India and Brazil, traveled by cargo boat down the Amazon River, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, explored ice caves in Peru, trekked to the source of the Ganges, and sunbathed in Burma, but she always likes coming home to a cold beer and her hot husband in the Bronx. Her books are about independent women who leave their old lives behind to try something new--and find the passion, excitement and purpose they didn't know they'd been missing.
