Yes of course, your looks matter to other. This is the bitter truth of the society, that it is full of such people who judge and criticize you just by your outer looks. And if you are not criticized, even then anyhow the world makes you feel awkward and uncomfortable if you don’t have a good outer appearances. Isn’t it, hmm? This book Your Looks Matter is not to prove it’s title as a theory, but to show you the reality of the world. You may can’t change people’s mindsets. But certainly you can adopt yourself in the actual world to cope of with the issue of lookism which has now become one of the serious global-social issues. Our writers have put too efforts to manifest how much one’s outside looks really matter in the rollercoaster of this life. Beside this, they also have tried to motivate those guys who have lost their sanity due to their imperfect outer appearance.

Abhay- a young boy (---22 December, 2004---) is an introverted guy who loves to express his own thoughts, feelings and philosophy, mainly in the format of poem. Palsapada – a small attractive village situated in Odisha is his birth place. He completed his matriculation in JNV Nuapada in 2020. After that lockdown was introduced by the government, then schools were closed, because of this he had to stay at his home for a long period, corona lockdown – the time when he discovered his hobby of writing. Abhay Selfishone is his pen name. He has worked as a co author in various anthologies like Maa, Effects of Lockdown, Traveler – In Search of Life, Tickled Pink, and The story of my Dad etc. This book “Your Looks Matter” is the first one compiled by him. He says “Will go there only where besabriyan will take me to.”
