About this eBook

A sexy and evocative Regency romance e-novella!

Jilted overseas and abandoned without a penny, Amanda Thomas is desperate to get home. She’ll do whatever it takes to secure a berth on an England-bound ship, even if it means pretending to be the wife of the absentee viscount who jilted her. But when the anchor lifts, she’s not the only impostor on board—for the stranger in her bed claims to be the real Viscount Ripton. Can she trust this devastatingly attractive scoundrel? Or is his offer of friendship only a pretext for seduction...and revenge?

I truly loved this story. I'm a true fan of Julie Garwood books but I decided to read this book and I am pleased. Although it's a different style of reading meredith duran still got her point across. I look forward to reading the next two books in this series! It lifted my spirits and made me smile and wanted to keep turning the pages in hunger!

About the author

Meredith Duran is the USA TODAY bestselling author of thirteen novels. She blames Anne Boleyn for sparking her lifelong obsession with British history (and for convincing her that princely love is no prize if it doesn’t come with a happily-ever-after). She enjoys collecting old etiquette manuals, guidebooks to nineteenth-century London, and travelogues by intrepid Victorian women.
