Anak dari Raden Usman Hajji atau yang dikenal dengan sebutan Sunan Ngudung, seorang panglima perang Kesultanan Demak Bintoro. Ayahnya merupakan putra dari Sultan di Palestina yang bernama Sayyid Fadhal Ali Murtazha (Raja Pandita / Raden Santri).
