As previously said by MAL, and I highly agree with this. Yuri Kitayama's 精霊幻想記, is one of the best isekai/fantasy/reincarnation stories of this decade (2010-2019). Truly a breathtaking journey, following Rio's hardships and trials sprinkled with misfortune that he must overcome. 10/10 recommended read. Yuri Kitayama is, after all, one of the best isekai authors of this decade. What less do you expect of a story written by her?

This volume was super satisfying. It was a bit slow to start since they were building up to the climax, but by the end, background characters we know to be strong get to display their skills in front of some real big names and Rio himself gets some massive payoff for all of the hard work he's put in so far. It's a shame it left off with a bit of a cliffhanger because I absolutely want to see how the next volume will start up. I guess I'm stuck waiting for that to come out.
