I've always wanted to read this book but have been unable to find it anywhere until I found it here. It was as good as I'd anticipated it being.

About the author

Yutaka Taniuchi was born in Osaka, Japan in March 30, 1934. He began a writing career after graduating from the Osaka City University, Department of Commercial Science in 1957. The author has been active in writing for the theater for many years. His many works (translations of Japanese titles) include The Innocent Prisoner, Three Monkeys, Late Spring, Three Moles, and The King and the Beggar.
