At first it seems like "just another isekai" with tiny variation of MC being a sword. The plot picks up later tho, with introduction of Fran and other characters. Best thing about this story is the characterization: Each character is fleshed out and unique, and it's fun reading about their interactions. And them (almost) murdering some two-bit thugs.

It was very pleasant reading!! I'm not sure if I'm being biased because I like Isekai-themed story, but it's real good story. To tell the truth, I don't expect it will be awesome because the main character is 'just a sword', but apparently, writer-san able to make the story fun and addictive-make you want to read again and again. Great works.

Read until book 4. Book 1 is alright, my problem is MC became too OP too fast. I just gave up when book 4 gave hint about cooking contest, then I just stop, having read Rising of the Shield Hero cooking arc, I already have some hint on what to expect, more friends, more OP power, cook for friends, yadda yadda yadda.
