Not many books actually deserve the title of "soo well written it's an uncomfortable experience to read what sick thing a bad guy does next" but Darren shan has made this series go soo far in the 6 books released he has went past the point of disturbingly graphic and refreshing take on a zombie apocalypse it's a must read if you are a f an of zombie but sick of the over saturation of the whole thing

All of his books are imaginative and clearly well written. He gives a new idea to the characters that the media has given a view off for example vampires in the saga of darren shan, media has conveyed them as blood thirsty and injust killers whereas darren shan portrays them as not blood thirsty and more calm and mellow. I truly believe that darren shan is one of those authors that will always write in depth
