About the author

Dr. Zhien Zhang is a research fellow at the Ohio State University and also Visiting Professor at University of Cincinnati focusing on Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) and membrane technologies for gas separation. He is Editorial Supervisor of Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering and Associate Editor in several journals such as Environmental Chemistry Letters.

Dr. Wenxiang Zhang is a research fellow at University of Macau focusing on the Theory and Technology of Membrane Water Treatment, specifically including dynamic filtration for resource recovery of pollutants from food processing wastewater, filtration characteristics of granular sludge for MBR fouling control, and the development of multifunctional membrane for advanced water treatment. He has published more than 20 papers in these fields.

Dr. Eric Lichtfouse is a biogeochemist at Aix Marseille University who has invented carbon-13 dating, a molecular-level method allowing to study the dynamics of organic compounds in temporal pools of complex media. He is Chief Editor of the journal Environmental Chemistry Letters, and the book series Sustainable Agriculture Reviews and Environmental Chemistry for a Sustainable World. He is the author of the book Scientific Writing for Impact Factor Journals, which includes an innovative writing tool: the Micro-Article.
