About the author

Zilla Sinuany-Stern is a Professor Emerita at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) at Ben-Gurion University (BGU), Israel. Her research interests include operations research (OR) and management science (MS): theory and applications. She has published over 150 articles, and held many important academic positions, such as: Head of the Department of IEM at BGU, President of the Israeli Society of Operations Research, Vice President of the European Association of Operations Research (EURO), Provost of Ariel University, Member of the Israeli Council for Higher Education (CHE), and Chair of its Quality Assurance Committee (CHE).
