Aku terbangun, ketika sinar-sinar mentari mulai menyeruak masuk dari celah-celah jendela. Ku buka perlahan mataku yang terpejam, ku hirup aroma udara segar pagi ini. Dalam hati ku ucap syukur karna masih diberikan hidup. Ku lihat meja yang berada di samping tempat tidurku. Ada sepucuk surat ternyata. Ku buka perlahan lahan dan ku baca bait demi bait surat itu. Aku tersenyum membacanya. Ternyata dari mama ku, beliau memberikan ucapan Selamat Ulang Tahun untukku. Hari ini tanggal 14 Februari dan aku genap berusia 16 tahun. Segera aku bergegas untuk mandi dan bersiap berangkat ke sekolah. Aku sudah tidak sabar dengan apa yang nanti akan terjadi di hari spesialku ini.
