lovewordthings is a sequence of poems in the vein of Neruda or Browning, and no small essence of Dickinson, doing what poetry does. That is, convey experience, emotion, and everything in its entirety and entirely hidden.
Does it succeed? Has poetry succeeded before? Recently? It tries. That is all that it can do.

Joshua Chapa is an educator and writer of speculative fiction and poetry. His interests include Brazilian jiu-jitsu, poker, and video games. He lives in the Rio Grandey Valley in Deep South Texas with his dog, Maverick.
