Stunning. Scary. Thought provoking. I only bought this book because the Apple TV preview looked so compelling and I wanted to know whether Jacob did it or not. Seeing the characters develop and getting a first hand view from the doting Father of the accused boy is new, refreshing and thrilling. The ending left me gobsmacked. I'm reading the last few chapters AGAIN because they blew my mind. Absolutely loved this. More please!!!

Absolutely cracking courtroom drama, and I personally really liked the OTT detail. This might be my favourite book of the year, but I do believe I say that after most books. Defending Jacob has just been made into a TV series which may well be worth a binge-watch 🧐

Wow, one of the best books I have read in years. I read voraciously and to be able to say that this would be in my top ten books ever is a lot for me. It is thought provoking and a lot of the concepts really interesting - won't talk too much about them here as it will spoil the plot. Didn't see the ending coming at all, but it did wrap it up, if not neatly, but then life never is. Also enjoyed the question and answer section with the author at the end of the book. Again WOW!!!!!!!!
