About this ebook

A hot new standalone in the series that's been called "A total, utter must read." - Book Fanatic

Recovering from a pulled groin muscle isn’t exactly how I planned to spend my much-needed summer vacation. But being nursed back to health by my gorgeous friend Bailey, who’s just graduated from medical school, doesn’t exactly sound like a hardship.

We spend a week together at my family’s beach house, a week of swimming and barbecues, a week of entertaining my little cousins and sleeping right across the hall from each other. A week of watching Bailey grow closer with my mom and sisters, and my wacky but lovable grandma. A week of enjoying Bailey tending to me—which is saying something, because it involves a lot of shoving ice packs into my underwear and taping up sore muscles.

She’s funny and kind, and after just being myself for the first time in a long time, I find my walls come tumbling down. But when Bailey says she’s not looking for a relationship, I’m bound and determined to be more than just the fun hookup who sprained his groin a second time—this time with her.

The Hot Jocks Series of stand-alone’s is fast becoming one of my favourite reads and Crossing the Line book 4 is the perfect addition to a entertaining series that’s full of great couples. Asher has suffered a bad groin injury and it’s Bailey the recently graduated med student who helps with his recovery and it’s during the time they spend together that she gets to know the real man, she gets to see a different side to the man she calls a friend and the famous hockey player...... This is a story that will draw you in and captivate you, it’s full of witty banter and plenty of swoon worthy moments, it has characters you can’t help loving and just like Bailey you will get to know the real Asher not just the playboy jock. I loved everything about this book, the chemistry was intense and there’s plenty of steamy moments to go with the witty banter but it was seeing the caring side to Asher that really touched me. Great addition to the Hot Jocks Series.

A hot hockey player and a doctor and throw in a feisty grandma. You have the makings of a 5 star read by an amazing author. This book has it all. Fun and lots of lovin’. Asher and Bailey heat up the sheets at his family’s get together. She never thought it would happen. After all she only went as his medical doctor to make sure he didn’t over do it. The chemistry was always there even though they never really spent a lot of time alone. He was the hockey athlete playboy and she was the med student. They could not be more opposite. But you know what they say about opposites. And boy do they attract. Asher and Bailey not only heat up the sheets they click on every other level as well. She sees him for the guy he is down deep. A family man. The way he is with his little cousins. How he cried when his sister gave birth. This is the man she can see herself with, if she was looking. But sometimes love happens even when we don’t look for it. Kendall Ryan is one of the most amazing authors I have ever read. She always gives her readers everything and so much more.

Crossing the Line is the fourth book in Kendall Ryan's Hot Jocks series, but what is brilliant about them is that they can easily be read in any order or even as complete stand-alones. As each one features a different couple connected to the same Ice Hockey team, and this time it's the turn of the charming Asher and his friend/medical student Bailey. And honestly, it was such a fun, low angst, and sexy tale. That was packed full of feels and wonderful characters as Bailey kindly agrees to accompany the injured Asher home to Coronado Beach and a family reunion where she encounters all of Asher's extensive family including a spunky grandma called Lolli and three very interested sisters. Not to mention some single male cousins who would very much like to get in Bailey's pants. Would recommend.
