The authors have accomplished a clear and succinct review of the most relevant influences on public governance. They acknowledge the fundamental problems of paradigm- the evolving, overlapping, multitude of concurrent and often conflicting approaches- while describing the remarkable distinctions in thought driving each. As a student of public administration, this is the best compilation of ideas and literature on public governance that I have found.
