Ben-Hur, as originally written by Lew Wallace, was soaring and magnificent, grand in scope and poetic in nature. This "retelling" is nothing more than embarrassing, a dumbing-down of the story for those with short attention spans and who cannot read a sentence longer than five words or that contains a semicolon. Read this version and be ordinary; read the original and be inspired!

My grandson aven juvon perryman, 6years old loved the movie that we had to C it at the movies 2more times cuz he loved the parts where jesus helped the man that had leprosy and to love all people no matter there conditions and to pray for the bad people that were throwing rocks at the leprosy man.the movie gave my grandson on how to love all people, and especially god, now he says he loves god alot, alot and that he wanted to know more about jesus,these were his very own words.my grandson was very touched by this movie that he wants me to buy the movie and I am going to buy it for him to share it with family and friends.
