I appreciate the time and effort and Imagination it takes to write a series of books like this. I find myself identifying with the fictional Joe Pickett, when it comes to his Meandering but thorough ways, as well as sometimes being a loner. I would have given it 5 Stars, except for the fact that there were a few facts mixed up from the last book which I had just finished prior to purchasing this one. Other than that, it held me Spellbound and I read the entire book over the course of two or three days! In fact, I read off the grid out of order, then went back to the very first Joe Pickett book and read the entire series up to and including this one in the last month! Thanks CJ for a wonderful explanation of The Life and Times of these fictional characters! Going to purchase the next one as soon as I submit this!
