Renegade by Chantal Fernando Knights of Fury MC #2 A tame biker book with a sweet story sees Renny and Izzy eventually moving toward a HEA in the future. Izzy’s car breaks down when she needs to get to her sister in Las Vegas and Renny and three of his buddies from the Knights of Fury MC offer her a ride. Feeling a bit desperate she took Renny up on the offer and headed off to see her sister and help with the birthing of her niece Mila. And thus begins a story that was...interesting. What I liked: * Renny, short for Renegade, my, oh my, OH MY...what a splendid many he is! That said...perhaps a bit too clean cut and “nice” to be a biker. * Izzy the openhearted brash and bold woman that loves is giving and caring but sure can hold a grudge * The Knights of Fury men – all seem intriguing and worthy of their own stories. * Shadow – sweet dog with a bite we have yet to see What I might have liked to see more of: * a bit more grit and darkness...or at least action scenes * Where the story is going with the competing Killer MC group and Georgia * A bit more about life in the clubhouse of the MC This was a romance set in a MC biker background but really was more of a men’s club for feel than most MC biker books I have read in the past. That said, it was a fine story and I enjoyed reading it though I felt the ending was missing a bit of a letdown even though it did provide the HEA promised by Carina. I look forward to reading the next book in the series...I think. Thank you to NetGalley and Carina Press for the ARC – This is my honest review. 3-4 Stars

This book was all about family, the ones that you are born to and the ones that you make. And I love that in a book. Family is important, and those connections made this a fabulous story! Izzy is a good girl, who works hard, and loves hard. She's loyal, and will do anything she can to help someone, especially if it's someone she considers family. Crazy events lead her to Renny, and his family of bikers. An instant heat and a spur of the moment road trip put them on the path to each other. Danger and tragedy try to keep them apart. Circumstances threw Renny and Izzy together, but an instant attraction took it further. A fun night in Vegas turned in to so much more. But can they turn what started as a whim into something that will last a life time? I loved Remmy and Izzy's connection, and their ease with each other. Right from the first meeting, it seemed like they had known each other a lifetime, they were absolutely perfect. And even though there were so many things stacked against them, I couldn't help but cheer for them to find their HEA together! This was a fun book, one that kept me guessing, and kept me laughing. This is definitely turning out to be a series that I'm enjoying enough to put on my re-read list!

5-Knight-worthy-stars! Review by: Angelique Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog In the second book in the Knights of Fury series, Renegade, by USA Today, New York Times and Amazon Bestselling Author, Chantal Fernando is where we meet Isabella and Renegade. Renegade is a member of the Knights of Fury MC and has been for a while. His brotherhood to the other members is everything to him. Isabella is just the cute ‘neighbor’ who never complains or calls the cops on them if the music or rumble of the bikes get noisy. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t someone they’d like to get to know. After packing for Vegas, where Ariel, Izzy’s sister lives, her car decides to break down just as she’s out of her driveway. Desperate to get to Vegas because her sister is almost due to give birth, she accepts a ride from one of the bikers who, in contrast to what you’d think, she doesn’t fear at all. Izzy makes it to Vegas and after meeting her new-born niece, Mila, and taking care of her sister for a while, she heads back with the hot biker who was her virtual ‘Knight in shining leather armor’. Of course not before enjoying a proper Vegas night out. Whatever she thought the night would result in, waking up married to said biker was certainly not a part of the plan. Who knows what else could happen from there?
