For Tess, her older sister Bella is her whole world.

Absolutely brilliant. I never, ever thought this book would be so good. It had it all. A family saga, regrets, memories, nothing was as it seemed and it was so difficult to to know who was good and who was bad. This lady is an amazing writer. She has written 3 books so far and they are as good as, if not better than thriller writers who have been writing for years, I would have liked to have given the book 10 stars.

About the author
Vanessa Savage is a graphic designer and illustrator and the author of three thrillers: The Woman in the Dark, The Woods, and The Night They Vanished. Her work has been shortlisted for numerous prizes, including the Caledonia Fiction Prize. Vanessa lives by the sea in South Wales with her husband and two daughters.
