About this ebook

Just two weeks to go before the Cherringham Charity Christmas Concert. Choir rehearsals are in full swing. Then the worst thing happens: Kirsty Kimball, one of the singers, is found dead from a severe allergic reaction to one of the home-made rehearsal cakes. Jack is pulled in to help bolster the depleted choir - and soon he's convinced that Kirsty's death was no accident. Sarah agrees, and the two of them are soon immersed in the jealousies, rivalries, and passions of Cherringham's Rotary Club choir ...

Cherringham is a serial novel à la Charles Dickens, with a new mystery thriller released each month. Set in the sleepy English village of Cherringham, the detective series brings together an unlikely sleuthing duo: English web designer Sarah and American ex-cop Jack. Thrilling and deadly - but with a spot of tea - it's like Rosamunde Pilcher meets Inspector Barnaby. Each of the self-contained episodes is a quick read for the morning commute, while waiting for the doctor, or when curling up with a hot cuppa.

For fans of Agatha Christie's Miss Marple series, Lilian Jackson Braun's The Cat Who series, Caroline Graham's Midsomer Murders, and the American TV series Murder She Wrote, starring Angela Lansbury.

Co-authors Neil Richards (based in the UK) and Matthew Costello (based in the US), are known for their script work on major computer games. The Cherringham crime series is their first fictional transatlantic collaboration.

This is the third book in the twelve book series. A few things are happening here. This series is really hitting it's stride. Also, Cherringham is sounding more and more like a terrible place to live. Murder, mayhem, and secrets lurk in every cottage. This village has issues and Jack and Sarah are just the duo to root it out. More than just writing an excellent story, these two gentlemen have proven that they are also amazing magicians. There can be no other explanation on how you can pack this much story into one hundred pages. Once again, there is a murder in Cherringham. After these twelve books are done, there won't be many people left in the village. Jack has his New York detective training, and Sarah uses her lifelong connections to the people of Cherringham to bring the murderer to justice. Find a comfortable place to sit, because once you start this story, you won't rise until the end.

small-business, small-town, murder, murder-investigation, family, friendship, anaphylaxis, sleuth, England***** Murder by anaphylaxis! The police took it at face value, but Sarah doesn't believe it, and neither does the choir accompanist. So Jack and Sarah do their own diligence and find the truth. Well done! Voice actor Neil Dudgeon is excellent at his craft, but his audio equipment needs adjustment.
