All writers say their fictional characters talk to them. Mine jumped through the fabric of reality. But it's not like there's a writing course on preparing for your character's sudden appearance in your backyard. Now that Asgard's Dark Prince has opened the door between universes, he isn't my only character to do so. What's a writer to do but document the chaos as they turn my once quiet life upside down.
After all, inspiration comes in many forms.

If you like steamy Norse mythology tales featuring hot gods, a dash of magical realism, and humour woven around a predominately urban fantasy, dive into this series. In this first episode, you'll find themes of scandalous hero, polyamory and reverse harem, dominant alpha male, consent, and fish out of water. Season One consists of twelve episodes, each telling the tale of a fantasy romance writer and her ongoing struggle to write her trilogy while her characters turn her once boring life into chaos every time they invade her reality. She wouldn't be foolish enough to fall in love with a character, would she?
Melody Grace Hicks writes spicy science fantasy and paranormal romance. She’d apologize for the increase in your lingerie replacement budget, but really, we both know it’s those darn wickedly sexy males that bring you back for more, right? Born and raised on Canada’s West Coast, Melody has travelled the world and brings this diversity into her fiction. By day, she’s an award-winning internationally published scientist and professor, but at night, she dons her pen name to enthusiastically mash mythology and tell tales of soulmates, secret identities, unknown origins, betrayals, magical powers, polyamory, and love triangles.
