His life seemed perfect and he was seen as an important pillar of the community, but, really, was he? The more Stella and Carrie dig into his personal life, they find it was like he had two different personalities, one that was perfect and a second that was totally flawed. He was a ruthless womanizer who went to strip clubs, went on binge drinking with some of his friends, and used drugs, and it was within the latter environment that they would find the culprit responsible for the murder. But before they do so they'll work through many leads that uncover interesting material but are dead ends to solve the case. One good thing comes out of this case, Carrie and Stella discover that they can work well as a team! As a member of the author's ARC team, I downloaded a free copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.

Book 4 in series sees Stella Fall FBI agent teamed up with her Co worker who has had it in for Stella since they were at the Academy together. A man is murdered who they hear was a well liked man.. But as they dig deeper they uncover dark secrets.. An attempt on Stella's life sees her wondering just who she can trust.. A great read and an ending leaving you to want to see what happens next..
