The books reads like a fiction novel the acts of larceny are so outrageous.
The book illustrates the frailities of the human spirit in a compelling
way. I recommend the reader have basic knowledge of finance and accounting
to understand the nature of the crimes. The story is a complex financial
crime that is difficult to understand. I found myself rereading pages to
fully grasp what happened. Author does a fine job reminding the reader who
each character is and what role they played.
About the author
Kurt Eichenwald wrote for the New York Times for more than twenty years before becoming a senior writer for Newsweek. A two-time winner of the George Polk Award for excellence in journalism and a finalist for the 2000 Pulitzer Prize, he has been selected repeatedly for the TJFR Business News Reporter as one of the nation’s most influential financial journalists. His book, The Informant was turned into a major motion picture. He lives in Dallas with his wife and three children.
