Having read the Red Team series it was great to get the perspective of some of those forced into the trials and how they felt and dealt with what happened, the on going fight with mutants and trying to find answers. This is action packed and exciting, full of interesting places and characters, it also has some love. The descriptions are detailed and clear so give you an image in your head of the look of both places and people. Fast flowing plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat at times, and others melting with emotion. I love these men and it breaks my heart what was done to them and how it all affected their whole life, the fear and worry and the sadness and anger. Though complex the story was easy fore to follow as I knew threw the background from the previous series, I am however looking forward to a time when both sides merge because working together may benefit them all as each brings answers, questions and solutions to the table. Fantastic read

As a fan of Elaine Levine's Red Team Series, I was excited that she planned to continue the story of the Omni world in her new series. As a reader of Contemporary and Romance Fiction, I wasn't sure what to expect in this new series. I would describe this story of Liege as fantastical realism. While the relationships are genuine and real, the extraordinary changes that are the new normal took a little time to wrap your head around. I appreciated the way the characters thought processes and actions were explained, as this smoothed the transition into the rest of the story. I was pulling for Summer and Sam/Liege throughout the story. I enjoyed getting to know the men of Leige's Legion and I loved how we were left with the potential for other matches to be made in future stories as this series continues. Elaine Levine is a quality writer and I look forward to reading the next book in the O-Men Series .

Elaine Levine - O-Men: Liege's - (Legion Series –Liege –Book 1) A Red Team Series Crossover Heat Level: Hot Stars: 5 Genre: Contemporary/Military Romance mixed with Fantasy First, I will tell you why you should read the O-Men Series? The Author, of course, is the main reason. Ms. Levin’s books are full of action, adventure, mystery, and white-hot passion. Put your seat belt on, or you may fall off your chair. The author always provides well-developed characters that are likable and lovable, even with their own torment and inner torture. So what is the new O-Men Series all about. O-Men/Legion is a spinoff of the Red Team Series, and they both are fighting the same evil enemy the OMNI World Order. OMNI is a secret organization and has existed for many centuries across most continents under different names. They aren’t like a religious sect that wants its philosophy to rule all others. Their unifying belief is far simpler. They want power. The Red Team are fighting humans, and the O-Men are fighting humans that were transformed into dangerous monsters. If you haven’t read the Red Team series, no worries you will not get lost while reading this new series. However, the Red Team Series is one of all time favorites. The O-Men have military experience, and as soldiers, they were forced, against their will, into an experiment with injections of nanotechnology. Now, the O-Men are super soldiers with special powers such as super strength, telekinesis, telepathy, erase memories, some have healing powers, invisibility, and they live much longer than mere human beings. The Legion’s are basically a worldwide organization who are fighting their creators and protecting human-kind by fighting the altered humans (monsters). Liege's – Book 1, introduces the four main characters, Sam Garrick (Liege) who leads his men, Bastion, Merc and Gueer. Their HQ is about an hour from Fort Collins, Colorado. All the men in the Series are over 6’6” tall, and they are linked mentally. Sam Garrick – Liege is handsome, broad shoulders and a tapered waist Liege (Sam Garrick) finds his soul mate, Summer Coltrane, who is also best friends with Sam’s daughter (remember these men don’t age like everyone else). He found out Summer was his when he saw a bright light AND saw the very scary MATCHMAKER, which is a synonym for the REAPER and definitely from and in another realm that only the O-men can see. Afraid that the matchmaker will claim Summer, He offers his own life, but the matchmaker doesn’t take him. Summer can be a free spirit, after all, she was raised by hippies. She works at Brisco Gardens and Landscape Design Center, using her degree in Horticulture. Summer dated Brisco’s owner’s son, Brett Flynn, in college and also shortly after she started working at the Garden’s. When Brett became a douche bag, she broke it off with him. What Summer didn’t realize is that Brett and his father were part of the OMNI. You will have to read this book to find out if Liege can protect Summer from the OMNI and if they find their own HEA.
