The Nowhere Child

The Nowhere Child by Christian White It’s hard to believe that The Nowhere Child is Christian White's debut novel, it's an amazing book and the Australian author writes with consummate skill. The plot revolves around a 26 year old unsolved child abduction case which happened when 2 year old Sammy Went was removed from her home in Kentucky. All these years later Australian, Kimberley Leamy, a photography teacher from Melbourne, is absolutely knocked sideways when an American accountant contacts her convinced that Kimberley is his daughter, Sammy! This would mean that the much loved and loving Social Worker who had reared her and had died four years before from cancer, had travelled thousands of miles across the world to steal a toddler! This novel puts a whole new spin on the psychological suspense genre and I guarantee that once you start reading, you will find it incredibly difficult to stop. Very, VERY highly recommended is all I can say.

The twists and turns of this story is a must for anyone who likes mysteries. A few pages in and I was hooked a brilliant read.
