This is a well written book about the Adams family. Starting with John and going through the first World War, it gives an intimate history of the Adams family. This story has an unexpected irony to it. While the accomplishments of the family is well chronicled, it also mirrors the country religiously. John and John Quincy were very religious. Brooks and Henry were unbelievers.
