Because Of You Swanson Court #5 Serena Grey ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I loved the Swanson Court series, without a bout Landon was my hand down favourite, but while we read into his life it was his brother, Aidan who also had a story to tell, Because Of You is his. If you want to get the whole wonderful story line start at book one, but otherwise enough of Landon and Rachel to get the gist of their forever love. So Aidan Court is renowned director of the stage. He has had a rough life, from the death of his parents, to his tortured growing up, but now it is his love of stage shows that has this irresistible man the success he is. This story starts briefly in the “now” then jumps to 7 years previously and the beginning of a tumultuous relationship that spans the whole book, eventually coming full circle to the here and now. Liz McKay, is LA’s darling of the screen, she’s beautiful, smart and an award winner, she is also the woman who declared love to Aidan Court, then disappeared. Dennis McKay, is the Broadway producer of a new stage show and he wants his daughter to play the lead female role, assuming she can’t act, Aidan gives her a ripping, leaving a more determined Liz to show what she’s worth. No surprise she is fantastic and has huge reviews, but it is the relationship with Aidan that is up in lights. After declaring their love, she runs away to Hollywood. Now she’s back and is once again in Aidan’s play and his life. Unhappy about her, and the past, he is full of attitude, like he drive me crazy attitude. The man couldn’t make a decision to save his life… now get to the drama, this had more than an episode of Bold and The Beautiful… Aidan knows that no matter what Liz offered she’d crush him like she did years earlier. But discovering loving her meant giving his all, he may just leave it to late. On a positive note, Landon played a role in this story to so, happy faces here.

4.5 Stars This is book 5 in the Swanson Court series and it features Aiden and Liz. Seven years ago they were completely in love and one day she up and left Broadway and Aiden for a movie career. Now she’s back and begging for forgiveness. Aiden is SO angry and rightly so. His love for her is so immense, so deep, that he wouldn’t survive her leaving again. When you have that all consuming, forever type of love, it’s unbearable to lose it not only once but twice. I’m not so sure it’s even possible to get past her selfishness. I was on the edge of my seat into the last chapter! This is such a fantastic second chance romance and I’m so happy that Aiden FINALLY got his story! He’s a great character and I was rooting for him the entire book. Character growth was tremendous for him and others. I love that we got to spend time with Landon and Rachel.
