Auf der Basis zeichen- und medientheoretischer sowie kulturwissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse entwickelt Anna Valentine Ullrich ein Modell, um verschiedene Zitaterscheinungen zu analysieren, und berücksichtigt dabei sowohl den Prozess des Zitierens als auch das Zitatprodukt und seine Wirkungen.
Anwendung findet das Modell auf Beispiele der gebauten Architektur. Die medienübergreifende Betrachtung erweitert die Zitatforschung um neue Perspektiven und diskutiert zudem Funktionen des Zitierens als Kulturtechnik.

Anna Valentine Ullrich (Dr. phil.) ist Post-Doc am Institut für Sprach- und Kommunikationswissenschaft der RWTH Aachen. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Zeichensysteme im Vergleich und Multimedialität.
