I thought this was a really good read. Drama, emotion, heat and heart are combine with a sharp splash of realism to create a story that delivers the feels and the swoon. I like Abby and Nathan a lot. Both these characters have some baggage and I think that helps make them and their relationship relatable. It gave my emotions quite the workout and I enjoyed that. This is my forthright, elective review.

This is the 3rd book in the Granite Junction series and it features Abby and Nathan's story. Their story is full of drama and you just want to shake some sense into the both of them. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this book to see what happens. I can't wait for the next book in this series! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Can fate, in the form of an escaped beefalo bring these two lost souls together? At first glance, Nathan and Abby seem like opposites. She carries herself like a city girl and she’s only passing through Granite Junction. Everything in Nathan’s life is dedicated to his small hometown. He’s the picture of responsibility and forever. Yet they’re more alike than either one realizes. And oof! This pair have so much to unpack, both as a couple and as individuals. There’s a lot of angst and tension in this story, but it also has plenty of humor and the small-town vibe mostly gave me the warm fuzzies. I loved watching these two together even though they often left me wanting to smack some sense into them. I adore the peek in the ending at what might be coming next. That’s going to be one explosive combination and I can’t wait to read it. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author through Buoni Amici Press.
