About this ebook

One clueless queen-to-be, sent to a magical world she didn’t know existed, five lovers waiting for her prophesied arrival.

Before her vital first cup of coffee in the morning, Litha finds out she’s a witch and is suddenly transported to a magical world she had no idea existed. As if that wasn’t strange enough, it turns out that she’s prophesied to be queen, and her parents only took her to the human world to protect her from those who want to stop the prophecy from happening. The prophecy tells of a queen who will marry the ‘true king’ to unite all four kingdoms under his rule, finally bringing peace for the first time in centuries.

The four princes who could become her king? They’re all hot as hell and make her insides squirm each time she sees them. There’s Bane, the werewolf prince, all broody and with hair sticking up like he just got out of bed. Kit, the incubus prince, whose wicked smile melts anyone’s unmentionables. Rune, the dragon prince, protective and with muscles like he’s a moving mountain. And last, but definitely not least, Finn, the fae prince, quiet but intense, with eyes like a summer forest. And to make things even more complicated, when Litha finally meets her roommate, Phoenix, the only daughter of the highest priestess of the witches, she doesn’t want to do anything but kiss the redhead silly.

The first day at the Academy is a little bumpy, as Litha feels so lost in this new world, but that pales in comparison to finding out her parents had to go into hiding, the documents of the prophecy having been stolen from the Academy just days before and that some of the princes have been keeping secrets which could be their undoing before anything even starts…

This is a collection of the first set of three novellas, Prophecy, Curiosity and Duality in the Lughnasadh Elite Academy serial, a reverse harem #WhyChoose story. These novellas may include any of the following elements: steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author).

This story includes MF, MM and also FF scenes, but everyone is primarily focused on Litha and there are no sexy scenes between the guys and the other girl.

Okay so I was seriously looking forward to reading Fated Lovers, but I am completely put off by the "Insta Love" thing, supposed mate or not...It's just not my jam. I also don't enjoy how easily Litha just seems to go with things. If her internal monologue doesn't seem to be the personality she shows at all. I was hoping for a bit of badassery (not a word, I know..but it covers my point). I just don't like meek, easy characters..it drives me nuts! HOWEVER this collection still has SOOOO much potential! The storyline and plot are fantastic, I love the idea of a Queen not having to choose and bringing a whole bunch of fantasy species together in harmony, it sounds GREAT!! I just wish the character personalities matched up with it. I want to also mention that I didn't get passed the first book, which is unfortunate. I am hoping to push through and finish it eventually though, I hate leaving things unfinished I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wow, this collections starts the reader off at a fast pace. Litha has been living a normal life when suddenly she finds out she is a witch, prophesied to be a queen, and suddenly transported to the magical world she had no idea existed! Her parents brought her here for her protection from those who didn’t like the idea, until the time was right for the prophecy to unfold. According to the prophecy, Litha will marry the ‘true king’ to unite the four kingdoms under his rule, bringing peace for the first time in centuries. But she has four princes to pick from! Bane is a werewolf, Kit is an incubus, Rune is a dragon and Finn is a Fae. Later her roommate, Phoenix, the only daughter of the highest priestess of the witches, will enter the mix. While the books are familiarizing the reader with what is now going on in the magical world, Litha is dealing with her own witch skills and magic. She is also developing leadership skills for her eventual new role. War is coming, danger is increasing, and everyone will have a part to play. Grab your copy and join the magical world that is developing right before your eyes! Will the prophecy play out as expected? And how will she be able to pick only one prince to rule beside her as king after all of the princes have been so loyal and loving to her?

Fated Lovers is comprised of the first three books in the Lughnasadh Elite Academy Series. The first book is Prophecy (Lughnasadh Elite Academy 1) is a fast-paced novella that gets to the heart of the story in the first couple of pages. One can empathize with Litha as she is pushed into a world we think exists in our imaginations and fantasy books. Not only is that world real, but this very fortunate young woman also has three very hot princes looking to become her BFF and more. I love that Litha, though rightfully freaked out, is open to this new world. She is likable in her innocence and vulnerability. Litha has many characteristics that endear her to the reader. She is smart and will fight being forced to make choices that go against who she is. The second book in the series is Curiosity. Litha and her four princes (Bane, Finn, Kit, and Rune) get to know one another better. Along with a fascinating twist, the steam in this series is building, as is the danger they face. War is on the horizon, and the fated lovers are feeling the pressure of what is expected of them. The third book in the series is Duality, which continues from where Curiosity, Book 2, ended. The bonds between the Princes, Litha, and now Phoenix, intensifies. The danger they are in increases and Litha learns a bit about her family's past. We see that Litha is learning her magic and is becoming confident in leading. As unorthodox as this relationship may seem, it works for these characters. When they are together, everything falls into place. They are all unapologetically stepping into this relationship on their terms. Litha and Phoenix are intelligent and strong characters. Each one of the princes knows their strengths and what they bring to the table. Each is fully shouldering their responsibilities. The books each have suspenseful moments, humor, thrills, and lots of steamy moments. All of which makes this series a delightful read! I read the remaining books in the series and highly recommend reading the rest of the series! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About the author

Layla Heart (side-pen name of Skylar Heart) loves sexy romances and has a particular soft spot for broken boys and their damaged girls. When she’s not reading or writing steamy stories, she loves to nap with her adorable cats, preferably under a fluffy blanket, and play videogames. She has studied literature and creative writing but often finds that the couple of classes she took on coding are much more of a help in this new adventure as an author.
